Grown in the high altitudes of Gaitania, south Tolima, this coffee comes from a small group of quality focussed producers. Meticulous hand sorting and processing is practiced at each individual farm, with special attention paid to the drying process to ensure consistency, uniformity and a clean cup profile.
After the coffee is dried, and hulled, it is decaffeinated in Mexico using local mountain water. Using only water, temperature and time, this chemical free decaffeination method removes 99.8% of the caffeine present, and allows certified organic coffees to retain their status.
This is not only our first certified organic decaf, it’s also incredibly sweet and fruity too! Expect a balanced and full bodied espresso with notes of Yellow plum and brown sugar.
