As global temperatures rise, coffee farming is becoming increasingly difficult and less profitable for many producers. Today, nearly half of coffee production comes from countries predicted to lose more than 60% of land suitable for growing coffee by 2050. World Coffee Research is a non-profit organisation providing farmers with the tools, knowledge, and plants necessary to adapt to a changing climate. Together with our importing partners, Caravela, we’re donating €0.50 from every kilo of TEAMWORK Seasonal Espresso sold, to support their brilliant work.
We offer local customers the option to collect their coffee in reusable buckets. We’ve reduced our single use packaging consumption by approximately 40% for Galway customers. If you’d like to get involved in this scheme, we would love to hear from you!
We offset the shipping emissions of every bag, box and bucket that leaves the roastery through a reforestation project in County Clare. We’ve teamed up with Hometree to plant one non-invasive native tree for every tonne of carbon emitted.
