We believe it’s important to support producers who go the extra mile to protect the environment. That’s why Super Nature is always sourced from certified organic farms, grown and produced without the use of synthetic fertilisers, herbicides, or pesticides. This single origin espresso is available all year round, showcasing robust, fruity coffees from Ethiopia and Peru.

Despite simple equipment, minimal infrastructure, and hardly any governmental support, farmers are producing amazing coffees in Peru! Sadly most of these quality lots are blended and sold for an extremely low price. Producers are not paid for quality, so their investment in improving the infrastructure and processing practices on their farms is minimal. Fortunately things are changing..

This lot comes from two female producers from Cutervo, in northern Peru. This area has enormous potential for producing quality coffee, but most of the producers here come from other crops such as sugar cane, or they are used to more traditional practices. This is our first year buying coffee from both Elizabeth and Rosa and we think this lot makes an outstanding espresso!

Elizabeth & Rosa both grow, harvest and process all of their own coffee before delivering it as dried parchment to our exporter/importer Caravela. They both sold their coffee directly to Caravela and received an upfront payment. Caravela were then responsible for the dry milling, warehousing and logistical services of getting the coffee to our roastery.
