These coffees are sourced from regions where natural processing is either a long-standing tradition or a practical choice due to limited access to water and/or processing infrastructure.
The natural, or ‘dry’, process involves drying the coffee as whole cherries, resulting in a bold, fruity, and often fermented flavour profile. This method also requires far fewer resources than the traditional washed process and reduces the risk of water pollution on the farm.
This coffee has been produced by Antonio Gonzalez in Santa Rosa, Guatemala. Expect a full bodied and boozy coffee with notes of strawberry, papaya and chocolate.
