We have always been impressed by Damian’s coffees when they’ve been roasted by other roasters, so when the opportunity arose this year to roast one of his coffees ourselves, we jumped at the chance.

Damian’s farm, Finca Buena Vista, is located in San Agustín, Huila. The farm covers six hectares, with just over four hectares planted with coffee. While the majority of the coffee grown here is Caturra, Damian has also begun cultivating more exotic varieties such as Pink Bourbon and SL28. We can’t wait to taste them in the future!

This particular lot is made up of 100% Caturra and has been roasted for filter brewing. Expect a full-bodied and juicy cup with vibrant notes of blood orange, nougat, and blackcurrant.
